Meet new Carer, Ella, who loves making residents smile
Ella joined Vincent Court just one month ago, but already she loves her role and is recognised for her caring and compassionate qualities.
Inspired by her own family circumstances, helping her Nan look after her Pop who is in a wheelchair, Ella decided to embark on career in aged care. We are lucky she chose Vincent Court as a Personal Care Worker, supporting the wellbeing of residents living in our community.
“I love everything about my job – connecting with the residents, having a chat and helping to make their lives easier,” she says. “I especially love hearing residents’ stories and finding out what individual things they enjoy doing. It’s really special to be able to build relationships with them.
“It’s also amazing to be able to spend time supporting residents who live in our Memory Support Household. I focus on connecting with them, keeping them engaged in activities they enjoy, and keeping them calm and happy.
“I’m so glad I joined the Vincent Court team. Everyone loves being here and each team member goes out of their way to make this community feel like home. It’s a very happy and welcoming place to be.”
